general terms and conditions

Include with the price.

Prices include the following services, except in the case that particular conditions applied for certain reservations, (please check at the moment when you make your booking, any particular condition).

  • Unlimited mileage
  • Local taxes (VAT)
  • Fully comprehensive insurance coverage, with or without excess (depending on the location, and type of vehicle selected). VERY IMPORTANT: insurance does not cover accidents or damages caused by driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
  • Unlimited third party liability
  • One extra adicional driver. (depending on the location, and type of vehicle selected)

Not include with the price. 

The insurance does not cover the following damages:

  • Damages caused to the vehicle and to third parties due to negligent or careless driving, driving on unpaved roadways or paths.
  • Tow-away service due to client’s negligence.
  • Refuelling with wrong petrol (all costs involved will be at client expense).
  • Windscreen or glass damage
  • Traffic fines
  • Damaged rims and tires
  • Damages to the underside of the vehicle and costs involved.
  • Lost or broken keys and costs involved, (Cost of replacement keys will depend on the key type).

Technical problems caused by the driver's negligence and/or inappropriate driving will not be covered by the insurance.

driving licence

All drivers must be in possession of a valid driving license. The minimum age must be over 21 to 23 years, and held a driving license that has been valid for at least one year, depending on the type of vehicle selected could be more years. (Please check on the specific conditions for each car type).

confirmation 

Rent a car 4you.com will send you the confirmation to the e-mail address indicated on the reservation. (Please check on the provided address). We can only secure the delivery of the confirmed car type, not a specific model.

one way rentals

Delivery and return in different locations.  Please select the delivery and return locations when making the reservation. On the Balearic Islands it is strictly forbidden to take the vehicle to another island, the hired vehicle may only be driven in Spanish territory. Most one-way rentals are subject to an extra charge.

fuel policy

The vehicle will be delivered sometimes with a full tank and some others not, depending on the delivery point selected, (please check at the moment when you make your booking, any particular condition), being always at client expense. We can never confirm the delivery of a certain engine type (gasoline or diesel).

supplements

Several supplements are available in most stations (baby seat, roof racks, etc). Most of them are subject to an extra charge. Please check rates at booking time. The use of all these accessories is responsibility of the customer.

airport deliveries

During open time, in case of out of time deliveries an extra charge will be applied. Please check on our confirmation of your reserve to see if it is applicable and the costs for the destiny. Some offices might be closed on Sundays and public Holidays.

hotels deliveries

Hotels delivery is available in certain locations, possible an extra charge will be applied. Please check the specific conditions for the locations you select when make the reservation.

fines

Parking or traffic fines and motorway tolls are responsible to vehicle renters.
